Counseling Style Counseling usually becomes necessary when we feel stuck and uncertain of what to do. Often the piece we are missing is the willingness to be deeply truthful with ourselves and examine our motives. Therapy facilitates the process of being truthful with one’s self in order to make better and more well-informed choices. Clients know that they have completed therapy when they are open to and execute creative solutions that bring renewed hope and confidence.
